De invoering van NIS-2 wetgeving in Europa, die eind 2024 van kracht wordt, is een belangrijke ontwikkeling die deze trend adresseert. Deze wetgeving is ontworpen om de weerbaarheid van bedrijven en organisaties tegen cyberdreigingen te vergroten.

Digital infrastructures are of an increasing importance for society and the economy, which makes us more vulnerable to cybercrime. According to the NCTV Cyber Security Assessment Netherlands 20231, cyber-attacks continue to increase and become more complex.
The introduction of NIS-2 legislation, which is expected to come into effect at the end of 2024, is an important development that addresses this trend. This legislation is designed to increase the resilience of companies and organizations against cyber threats.
